Therapy for when understanding isn’t enough.

You may understand why you feel the way you do and still find yourself caught in the same patterns.

Therapy can help you make more room for difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them dictate your choices, so you can respond more freely and move toward what matters to you.

You May Be Here Because…

You’ve tried to work things out on your own, but something still isn’t shifting.

You’re dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotions that feel difficult to manage.

Your relationships have become stuck in cycles of conflict, distance, or disconnection.

You’re going through a transition and aren’t sure what comes next.

Or perhaps something just doesn’t feel right, and you’re ready to approach it differently.

I'm Evan Berger

Therapy is often where the ways we've learned to manage life stop working as well as they once did.

Sometimes that shows up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, disconnection, or simply the sense that something isn't quite right. You may understand some of the reasons behind your patterns and still find yourself repeating them.

My role isn't to tell you how to live your life. It's to help you slow things down, make space for what's happening, and respond with greater freedom and choice.

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Education. My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing®, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Therapy isn't about giving you a set of instructions for how to live your life. It’s about slowing things down, becoming more aware of what shapes your responses, and clarifying what matters to you moving forward..

I draw from three complementary approaches:

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
Making space for difficult thoughts and emotions without letting them automatically determine your choices.

Somatic Experiencing®
Paying attention to the body and nervous system to notice patterns of stress, activation, and protection.

Emotionally Focused Therapy
Exploring the emotions and relational patterns that shape how you respond to yourself and the people you care about.

Together, these approaches can help you develop a clearer sense of what is happening beneath the surface—and greater freedom in deciding what comes next.
